Refund policy

Subscription services

Kai News is billed per subscription period (monthly or annual, depending on the plan). You can cancel anytime from the app or by writing to support: cancellation stops auto-renewal and you keep access until the end of the period already paid.

There are no prorated refunds for started periods: if you cancel mid-month, the service remains available until that month ends and the next one is simply not charged.

First-purchase guarantee (7 days)

If it's your first purchase of a paid plan and the service doesn't meet your expectations, you can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the first charge. Applies once per customer.

Credits

Platform credits (e.g. rewards for implemented suggestions) have no monetary value, are non-transferable and non-refundable, and consumed credits are not restored.

Right of withdrawal (Colombia)

For distance sales, the withdrawal right of the Colombian Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) applies within 5 business days of purchase, provided the service has not started with your consent. It is a statutory right and it is yours on every purchase.

The 7-day guarantee described above is a different, additional thing: we offer it ourselves, it applies once per customer, and it does contemplate that you have already used the service. Neither replaces the other: you can rely on whichever one applies to your case.

How to request a refund

Write to kainews@mauroz.xyz from your account email, including the purchase date and reason. We reply within 5 business days; approved refunds are processed to the original payment method, with crediting times depending on the gateway and your bank.

Abuse prevention

We may reject 7-day guarantee requests when there is reasonable evidence of fraud or abuse (e.g. intensive use of the service followed by repeated refund requests). This affects only that guarantee, which is ours to give: the right of withdrawal is statutory and does not depend on our judgement.
